What the Gottman Method can offer couples in a hard season

The Gottman Method gives couples practical language for patterns that often feel personal.

When couples are caught in the same argument, the conflict can begin to feel like evidence that one person is the problem. The Gottman Method helps shift attention toward the interaction itself: the cycle, the bids for connection, and the moments where repair is still possible.

Evidence-based tools are most useful when they stay connected to the people using them. We can practice a different conversation while also listening for the history, vulnerability, and meaning underneath the words.

The goal is not a relationship without conflict. It is a relationship where both people can find their way back to one another.
